Abstract

|
The quasi-sysmmetric model has been a useful tool for analysing flow phenomena. We investigate the changes of patient flows across different types of medical service organizations produced by the enforcement of referral requirements for insurance patients using the quasi-summetric model. This analysis shows that the ratios of patient flows from the loser level medical service organizations to the uppwe level ones are significantly larger than the opposite flows after the enforcement.
